In this rewarding role you will work in a team environment where every day will be different. With your can-do attitude, you will be responsible for the direct care of our residents ensuring they are able to "Live Life to the Full" in our home-like environment. We are looking for a casual employee to work multiple shifts across a fornightly roster. The indidvidual will be located in our homely facility at North Turramurra, NSW 2074.

The Role

This role is a casual role care service employee position for an immediate start. The role is based at our North Turramurra facility - 402 Bobbin head Road, North Turramurra, NSW 2074.

The shifts will be on Week 1 and Week 2 roster for the following below:

Must be available to work on on various shifts AM, PM, Night Monday to Sunday over a fornightly roster.

Please note: Only candidates with full Australian working rights will be considered.

As a Care Service Employee, you will:

• Provide emotional and social support whilst assisting residents with a range of daily life activities
• Support residents with self-care including grooming, bathing and dressing
• Reporting any changes of resident to the Registered Nurse on the shift duty
• Assist with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids and ensuring the residents comfort
• Assist in mealtimes and social activities.

• Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support/ 2nd year Nursing students who have completed 1 placement.
• Experience in similar role in aged care
• A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Respect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion and ethnicity
• Able to do night shifts
• Must have a full working rights
