RST Waste Services is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and skilled Delivery/Collections driver, and Allrounder.

RST Waste Services is Bundaberg's leading family owned and operated Regulated Waste Collection Specialist. Providing primarily medical and related waste collection, transport and disposal services for various healthcare and related facilities throughout the Bundaberg and surrounding districts.

Located in Bundaberg we service the Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast, Darling Downs regions, along with parts of the east coast of Central Queensland including frequent travel to and from Brisbane.

RST Waste operates its own fleet of modern pantechnicon vehicles, all of which are designed for collection and safe transport of regulated wastes. Our fleet is well maintained by outside contractors.

We hold the safety of our, Staff, Community, Equipment and the Environment in which we operate in very high regard.

The successful application will poses and require the following :

·       Minimum MR licence required with minimum 3 years driving experience. (both City and Country).

·       Ability to use both Electronic and Manual systems.

·       Regular trips with overnight stays.

·       Ability to drive both Manual and Auto trucks.

·       Be Safety focused.

·       Looking for long term stable employment with opportunity for advancement.

·       Customer focused and attention to detail.

·       Manual handling and loading of waste receptacles in and out of vehicle.

·       Supply of 2 year driving report and Federal Police Check.

·       Willingness for early and varying starts as rostered.

·       Ability to work autonomously and within a small family team. With consideration for others.

·       Ability to follow instructions.

·       The ability to be confident driving Pantech trucks in confined spaces. (City centres etc)

·       Ability to drive on rough country roads in a safe manner

About the position

·       This position will require the successful application to be handling Medical and Related Waste and Sanitary disposal receptacles from within Healthcare and related facilities and as such requires standard Healthcare work vaccinations.

·       Yard maintenance, Bin Cleaning and Repairs.

·       A dangerous goods licence would be advantageous but not essential.

·       Level 5 Waste Management award.

·       Well maintained fleet.

·       Some trips to Brisbane.

·       Training of our systems and processes is supplied by hands on approach.

·       Maintaining vehicles in a clean and tidy condition.

·       Truck and Dog driving experience (not essential but opens opportunity for more work)
