Linehaul Driver

About the role

• Team Global Express is currently seeking a Linehaul Driver to commence immediately at our Depot based in Childers (Bundaberg)
• This is a Full Time Permanent Position
• The successful applicant will be employed on a 6 and 5 Roster (Sunday to Friday and then Sunday to Thursday)
• Must be available to commence in the afternoon (approx. 3.30pm start, hours may vary)
• Must be fit and able to complete a 12 to 14 Hour Shift
• Safely deliver freight from Childers to Brisbane (and back)
• Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
• Complete regular vehicle pre-start checks
• There is no set allocation of trucks in this position
• $0.62c per Kilometre (Childers to Brisbane)
•  $36.57 per Hour (Hourly Rate is paid for Deliveries made in Brisbane)
• 15% Superannuation
• Ability to accumulate up to 11 RDOs on an Annual Basis

What you'll bring

• Experience in a similar role is preferred
• Experience with Refrigerated Freight is preferred
• Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently
• Valid & Current MC Licence
• BFM Certificate (or willing to obtain)
