About the role:

San Remo is a leading international food company based in Adelaide, seeking an ambitious, up-and-coming digital marketer to join our exceptional marketing team.

The successful applicant will report directly to the Digital Marketing Specialist and collaborate closely with the marketing team and other key domestic and international departments.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

As our Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will help plan and execute all digital marketing activities across the San Remo portfolio, encompassing all categories. You will actively assist in managing social media channels, websites, email marketing, newsletters and SEO campaigns.

Specific responsibilities will include;

SOCIAL MEDIA (Primary focus)

  • Day-to-day support with content creation, strategy development, and community management

  • Liaising with external content creators and graphic design agencies

  • Helping to plan and execute paid promotion of social content

  • Support influencer outreach and management

  • Assistance with monthly reporting across assigned brands with insights, recommendations and learnings

WEBSITES

  • Ongoing monitoring and maintenance of existing websites where appropriate (WordPress experience highly regarded)

  • Actively assist with website content through Content Management System.

  • Help with analysis reports when and where required (experience with Google Analytics highly regarded)

  • Helping to ensure all websites have responsive and strong UX principles, and monitor load times

  • Assist with the management and day-to-day activity with our Digital Agency

EMAIL MARKETING

  • Assist with reviewing current email marketing activity, subscriber lists and customer journeys

  • Help to build an EDM strategy to grow and segment the subscriber lists for all brands/categories

  • Design/update base templates for all brands

  • Help build, execute and report on an EDM schedule which supports brand activity.

  • Lead the development of our organisation-wide newsletter

OTHER TASKS

  • Assist with managing digital campaigns with retailer partners when needed.

  • Help inform the marketing department on new digital development and trends

  • Provide support with identifying, researching and engaging with potential social media influencers for all categories

  • General marketing duties as required (invoicing, reconciliation, parcel delivery)

  • A proven track record of successful social media marketing experience for at least one to two years.

  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices.
