We are looking for someone energetic and passionate wanting to develop  their skills,  in Melbourne's busiest and best seafood restaurant:

WATERFRONT  SOUTHGATE

The successful applicant will contribute to and enhance Waterfront's strong culinary brand with skill and innovation , through artistry, flair and vast knowledge of the Japanese Cuisine

We offer a full time role, a weekly roster , great location and fantastic work life balance

Experience, Skills and Attributes:

  • Must have at least 2 years experience and be able to marry traditional and modern techniques and must have the right to work in Australia
  • Have the ability to effectively follow instructions and absorb new information
  • Display good communication and immaculate presentation
  • Be a team player and display a positive attitude collaborating with other members of the team to deliver exceptional dining service
  • Excellent understanding of Food Safety and  OH&S as well as management of inventory and ordering of supplies paying attention to stock control and stock rotation
  • Focus on detail , prepare and cook dishes to a high standard but also develop new and innovative recipes
  • Have outstanding time management during preparation and service periods
