About the Roles:

We have a variety of roles available, each with unique requirements to meet the specific needs of our participants. We encourage you to apply if you meet the criteria for any of the following positions.

1. General Support Workers (Males & Females)

We are looking for Support Workers to provide general assistance with daily living, community access, and household tasks for various NDIS participants.

2. Female Support Workers (Personal Care)

You will be providing intimate personal care for our female participants who require privacy and dignity.

3. Culturally Specific Support Workers

We are seeking male and female Support Workers who can provide culturally competent support to participants from an Islamic background. Skills and experience in the following areas would be advantageous.

  • Fluency in Somali
  • Cultural Competence: Understanding of Islamic traditions, including respect for customs, dietary requirements (Halal) and religious observances.

Key Responsibilities (for all roles):

  • Providing respectful and empowering support to NDIS participants.
  • Providing assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, medication prompting, and household tasks.
  • Supporting community access and social participation.
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records.
  • Adhering to the NDIS Code of Conduct and all company policies.

What We Are Looking For in an Applicant (General Requirements):

  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • A valid Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable, roadworthy vehicle.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates or willingness to obtain them.
  • Demonstrated experience in a support worker role is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate, patient, and reliable nature.
