As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting people with disabilities to live independently, achieve their goals, and participate fully in their community. This is a rewarding position suited to individuals who are compassionate, dependable, and committed to person-centred care.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming
  • Assist with household tasks like cleaning, cooking, and shopping
  • Support clients to attend medical appointments, social activities, and community events
  • Monitor and support client wellbeing, ensuring a safe and positive environment
  • Follow individual support plans and behaviour management strategies
  • Accurately document client progress, incidents, and health-related updates
  • Work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, and other team members

About You:
  • Passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities
  • Reliable, patient, and empathetic with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments
  • Understands confidentiality and professional boundaries

Requirements:
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, Community Services or equivalent (desirable)
  • First Aid & CPR (current)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
  • Working with Children Check (NSW)
  • Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (as per NSW Health directives)
  • Police Check
