Quality & Testing Manager – 12 Month Contract | Darwin

We are seeking an experienced
Quality & Testing Manager
to lead all testing activities for a large-scale digital transformation program within the public sector.

This role will be responsible for defining and implementing testing frameworks and strategies, overseeing test automation, and leading a team of Test Analysts to ensure the quality and success of program deliverables.

At SRA,
we maintain a dedicated and professional Placement Services team to ensure you are well looked after. We are suppliers to Commonwealth and State Government departments as well as being able to place resources into enterprise organisation's in all industries. We are not a recruitment agency, we are a professional services firm with over 30 years' experience in ICT consulting across Australia and internationally. We know what staff on project teams require to be successful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain program-wide test strategies, plans, and reports
  • Define and implement testing frameworks, tools, and processes
  • Establish and oversee a test automation suite and approach
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Test Analysts and Automation Testers
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all testing activities across program phases
  • Manage test phases including functional, regression, integration, UAT, and performance testing

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Test Manager or Senior Test Lead on large, complex ICT programs
  • Proven background in developing and executing test strategies, frameworks, and automation approaches
  • Proficient in test and defect management tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
  • ISTQB certification (highly regarded)
  • Experience in testing COTS or data migration projects advantageous

Contract Details:

Location: Darwin (on-site)

Duration: 12 months

Clearance: National Police Check & Ochre Card required
