Your role as an Assistant Branch Manager will be responsible for coaching the team and overseeing branch operations alongside the Senior Branch Manager. Ensuring exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence. You'll guide the team in providing customers tailored solutions to achieve their financial goals.

In this dynamic and high-impact role, you'll make your mark by:

  • Coaching and developing the team. With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll proactively work with the team to help them achieve their performance goals. You won't be afraid to step in wherever the branch needs you

  • Leading and streamlining day-to-day branch operations to ensure timely and precise completion of all operational and risk tasks. You'll drive operational efficiencies and maintain high standards of compliance

  • Building strong, relationship-centric connections with the community, key internal stakeholders, the branch team, and Senior Branch Manager to deliver on our growth targets and provide exceptional customer experiences

This is a permanent, full-time position located in Albury.

What you'll bring to the role

To succeed in this role, you'll contribute to the branch's performance through leadership, team development and operational oversight. We'd love you to have:

  • Retail banking experience

  • Experience in personal and residential lending

  • Extensive experience in customer service or sales

  • Strong communication skills to deliver clear branch expectations

  • Natural people leadership capabilities and a desire to mentor and develop staff

  • High level of understanding of lending products, policies and regulations

  • An ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and team members quickly, assess their needs and a develop a holistic view of their situation
