About Us
At Neurodiverse Playhouse, we do therapy differently. Our team of passionate allied health professionals supports neurodivergent children in a way that's fun, respectful, and led by the child.
We work with children with Autism, ADHD, developmental language disorders, apraxia, social communication differences, and sensory processing needs. We focus on neuroaffirming, play-based therapy that embraces alternative communication methods (like AAC and Gestalt Language Processing) and supports children at their own pace.
Our beautiful clinic in Yarraville offers indoor and outdoor spaces designed to help kids feel calm, safe, and engaged in their learning and communication.
About the Role

*Support expressive and receptive language development
*Explore and implement AAC, speech sound work, and communication alternatives
*Foster connection through play-based, neuroaffirming approaches
*Work with children who use Gestalt Language Processing
*Support regulation, attention, and social communication
*Provide family coaching and practical strategies for home and school
You'll have the flexibility to tailor your sessions and follow each child's interests and communication strengths—no one-size-fits-all therapy here.

Are a qualified Speech Pathologist, registered with SPA
Have experience (or a strong desire to learn) in neuroaffirming communication support
Are open to or experienced in AAC and GLP approaches
Enjoy working in a playful, supportive, and flexible environment
Are excited by the idea of working indoors and outdoors in beautiful, sensory-friendly spaces
