We're seeking an experienced
Identity Specialist
to join a large enterprise digital transformation program within the utilities sector. This role involves the
design, engineering, and implementation of modern identity and access management technologies
, with a focus on security, integration, and governance across complex environments.

About the Role

As an Identity Specialist, you will play a key role in the design and deployment of enterprise identity solutions. Working alongside project managers, architects, and implementation partners, you will act as the
technical lead
for identity technologies, contributing across the architecture, engineering, and configuration lifecycle.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing
    IAM (Entra ID)
    ,
    IGA (SailPoint)
    , and
    PAM (CyberArk)
    solutions.
  • Developing implementation roadmaps and ensuring successful integration across enterprise systems.
  • Leading technical design discussions and providing expert guidance to project and engineering teams.
  • Supporting Zero Trust initiatives and collaborating across cyber security, endpoint, and network teams.
  • Producing high-quality technical documentation and contributing to the ongoing development of identity management practices.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • 8+ years' experience in the
    Identity domain
    (Architect, Engineer, or Technical Lead).
  • Hands-on experience with
    SailPoint, Entra ID/Active Directory, and CyberArk
    .
  • Strong background in security solution design and integration with enterprise services.
  • Demonstrated understanding of
    NIST, Essential 8, ASD ISM
    , and
    Zero Trust
    principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience within regulated or critical infrastructure sectors (e.g., energy, utilities, government).
  • Relevant certifications in identity or security technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of designing identity solutions in complex, highly regulated environments.
