Mining Maintenance and Fabrication Services is a WA owned and operated business offering our clients a full range of mining solutions, equipment maintenance, repairs and local, FIFO Labour Hire.

*About the role:*Heavy Diesel Fitter (FIFO): We are currently seeking experienced HD Fitters to join our team for ongoing site-based work in Port Hedland.

Successful candidates will have strong field service experience and a solid background working on large-scale machinery, particularly with CAT (dozers, graders, excavators, and loaders), Hino, Volvo and Light vehicles (Hilux and Prado). *What's on Offer:*

  • Roster: 8:6
  • FIFO ex Perth
  • $85 per hour ongoing role
  • Weekly Pay

*What's Required:*

  • Australian recognized Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology / Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Mobile Plant Mechanic) / Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  • Valid Australian Drivers License HR (essential)
  • 3+ years of general earthwork machinery experience om servicing and repairs
  • Competent with using Caterpillar ET/SIS
  • Demonstrable Relevant Experience with all or most CAT D10 D9 D8 bulldozers, graders, 352, 374 excavators, CAT 980, 962 Wheel loaders, VOLVO A60H artic trucks, 6 wheel watercarts fm500, LVs Hilux, Prado
  • 4WD certificate
  • Demonstrate fire attack
  • Construction white or blue card
  • High Risk Work License - LF, CN
  • Strong work ethic, capability to work collaboratively & work alone
  • National Police Clearance obtained in the past 3 months
  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical & Drug Screening
  • Eligible to work in Australia without requiring a sponsorship
