About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our Foodservice team in NSW. This role is responsible for managing distributor accounts, driving profitable growth, and delivering national initiatives at a state level. Working closely with the Regional Account Manager, you will implement customer plans, support product launches, and ensure distributor engagement across both fresh and frozen channels.
This role requires a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution to maximise incremental volume, strengthen customer partnerships, and contribute to building a high-performance sales culture.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Manage a large portfolio of Foodservice distributor accounts, ensuring profitable growth
- Implement customer plans in line with national sales strategies
- Drive incremental volume through promotions, new products, and pricing initiatives
- Maintain regular customer contact and call cycles to strengthen relationships
- Support trade shows and presentations to showcase the product range
- Provide accurate sales reporting, feedback, and market insights
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in FMCG sales, ideally within Foodservice or a similar channel
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Experience using CRM systems and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or related discipline is desirable
- Proven resilience, problem-solving, and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Commitment to safe work practices and quality standards
