Textured Concept Foods is Australia's leading producer of textured modified food products and meals for people living with dysphagia. We use fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create high-quality meals and desserts for hospitals, aged care facilities, and home users.

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team and support our food production process.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will:

  • Assist with the preparation of food ingredients to HACCP specifications
  • Wash utensils, equipment, and work areas to maintain strict hygiene standards
  • Help with moulding and shaping food items as needed
  • Pack food products accurately and efficiently for distribution
  • Support general kitchen and production tasks as required
  • Work as part of a supportive team to meet daily production targets

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen, food production, or manufacturing environment
  • A strong focus on food safety, hygiene, and quality
  • A food safety certificate must be obtained within 30 days of commencing employment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work to production schedules
  • Physical capability to perform manual handling and production tasks
  • A reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to also work independently
  • Australian permanent residency status or appropriate work rights
