The Team
Our Insurance & Health team is headed up by 32 industry leading principals across six states. Within the insurance space our award-winning team is known for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional client service. The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas. The principals that head up the team for this particular position are Rob Samut and Sam Pillay.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join our Health Law team in Brisbane. This role will provide opportunities for involvement acting for medical and allied health professionals and other health care providers in a variety of claims, disciplinary proceedings, litigated proceedings and coronial inquests.
The Successful Candidate
We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- previous defendant insurance experience (preferably health law);
- ability to manage your own file load;
- ability to build strong client relationships with a focus on client service;
- effective communication skills; and
- a collaborative and pragmatic approach.
