Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Law Staff Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Join a nationally recognised mid-tier firm with a strong culture and a reputation for excellence in commercial insurance law. With six offices across Australia, this firm combines personalised service with the resources and expertise to handle complex legal matters.

Based in Brisbane, you'll work within the Casualty group, working across:

  • Dust disease matters
  • Public liability
  • Defending personal injury matters
  • Product liability
  • Indemnity; and
  • Catastrophic claims.

Defend insurers and corporate self-insured clients across diverse industries, including building and construction, mining, infrastructure, manufacturing, retail, and hospitality.

You'll be supported by two highly regarded Partners and a collaborative team of around 15, including senior lawyers, paralegals, and secretaries, ensuring you have the resources to excel.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 4 years' PAE in defendant insurance
  • Confident in independently managing claims defence with strategic Partner support
  • Currently at Associate or Senior Associate level
