We are currently seeking experienced Drillers Assistants / Offsiders for FIFO positions in RC and Diamond drilling operations. This is an exciting opportunity to build a long-term career with industry leaders and work as part of a high-performing drilling crew.

About the role

As a Drillers Assistant, you'll be working closely with Drillers and Senior Drillers to support daily operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the setup, operation, and maintenance of drilling rigs and equipment

  • Handling drill rods, bits, and consumables

  • Bagging and recording samples

  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment

  • Keeping the work site clean, organised, and safe

This is a physically demanding role suited to individuals who enjoy manual work in remote outdoor environments.

What You'll Need (Essential)

  • Valid HR-B Truck Licence (HR-A not accepted)

  • First Aid Certificate

  • 4WD Training Certificate

  • Mechanically minded with a strong work ethic

  • Physically fit and capable of repetitive heavy lifting

  • Able to work well in a team and follow safety procedures

  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have or Willing to Obtain)

  • Working at Heights ticket (required for RC roles)

  • High Risk LF (Forklift) Licence

  • White Card

  • Certificate II or higher in Drilling Operations
