The Deloitte – Asset Management Team provides a dynamic environment where you will work on challenging projects, across a range of high-profile client organisations.
What will your typical day look like?
In this Adelaide based role, you will engage directly with high profile public and private sector clients on their most important and challenging business issues - addressing and solving their priority asset and operational related problems.
- Join a high-performing team dedicated to enhancing client profitability and performance.
- Collaborate with business and senior executives to define new project objectives and shape deliverables as a part of expanding our Specialist Assets network.
- Maintain strong relationships and collaborate with the business and senior executives to support the successful delivery of assigned project(s) objectives and deliverables.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the field of Asset Management and Industrial Technology to support the delivery of assigned improvement projects.
- Lead and coordinate project workstreams, focusing on outcomes, measuring and capturing client benefits and mentoring junior staff.
- Address complex private and public sector initiatives across power and water utilities, transport, mining, oil and gas, government and emergency services.
- Leverage Deloitte's capabilities in Structured Problem Solving, Design Thinking, Digital, Data Analytics, Deloitte Access Economics, and global consulting expertise.
- Develop Asset Management expertise to support and enhance project delivery, including contribution to building standardised tools and knowledge bases.
- Pursue client opportunities to build a robust work pipeline.
- Regular travel may be required.
About The Team
Our Australian team draws on hands-on industry expertise and extensive experience from some of the world's largest operations and asset intensive projects. In the asset team, we work with our clients across the breadth of an Asset Life Cycle, with core support areas being:
- Strategic Asset Management Planning aligned with ISO 55000
- Asset Planning and Optimisation
- Asset Management Transformation and Performance Improvement
- Asset Risk, Safety, and Integrity Management
- Studies and Project Delivery
- Maintenance and Operational readiness
- Lean deployment and 5S implementations

In response to strong client demand for our services we have a need for a Senior Operational leader with extensive Asset Management and operational transformation experience in energy, resources, and public infrastructure to join the team as an Associate Director.
You are someone with:
- 10+ years relevant experience.
- Exposure and experience having worked in Asset Intensive industries (preferably Resources and Energy) at senior Line Leadership level, with a strong focus on Maintenance and Asset Management practices.
- Strong prior experience in management consulting, operational excellence, program/project management, technology implementation (Enterprise Asset Management, Field Mobility etc.), or similar capabilities.
- Demonstratable problem-solving capabilities with a track record of navigating complexity and designing robust approaches and solutions.
- Experience using modern tools and technology to enable asset performance improvement or productivity/capability uplift will be highly regarded.
- Experience in benefits realisation and business case development and approvals.
- Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills and demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops with broad stakeholder groups.
Specific experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable:
- Improvement program design and delivery.
- Process and requirements definition to support technology solution design.
- Application of consulting methods/tools to support complex problem solving.
