The Executive Manager - People and Culture is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of The District Nurses' workforce and culture at a time of exciting growth and transformation. Based in either Hobart or Launceston, and reporting directly to the CEO, the role will lead and champion The District Nurses' people and culture strategy, fostering a thriving, inclusive, and values driven workplace that supports community impact.
The Executive Manager - People and Culture provides strategic leadership in workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement, and cultural stewardship, ensuring alignment with the organisation's mission and strategic objectives. The position supports the CEO, Board, and executive team by driving initiatives that enhance organisational capability, strengthens leadership, and fosters a people-centred culture through values-based leadership, data-informed decision-making, and continuous improvement. As the organisation grows to serve more Tasmanians, this position will help ensure the workforce remains connected, supported, and inspired to deliver exceptional care.
The successful candidate will bring senior level experience in strategic people and culture leadership. A track record overseeing a broad range of people and culture initiatives together with proven success enhancing HR operations and service delivery is essential. The ability to lead change, coach leaders, and build inclusive, high-performing teams will ensure your success in the role. A collaborative approach, strong communication skills and a passion for making a meaningful impact for a purpose driven organisation is essential.
