About the role

The Member Guidance team is all about helping our members get the most out of their super. We reach out at key moments in their journey to offer general advice and education that can boost their retirement outcomes. It's a big part of how we help grow Australian Retirement Trust. The team is here to give top-notch service—whether that's answering questions, guiding members to the right support, or booking them in for personal advice when needed. It's about understanding what they need and helping them take action.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Help grow ART by using smart sales techniques and building strong relationships.
  • Guide members to the best next step—whether that's a product, a referral, or a chat with one of our advice experts.
  • Deliver great service every time, whether it's general advice or setting up a personal advice appointment.
  • Work closely with the Advice Delivery team to support members before and after their advice sessions.
  • Manage your member portfolio to help improve their retirement outcomes and support ART's growth goals.
  • Stay on top of compliance tasks.
  • Keep the experience positive measured through quality checks, coaching, and member feedback.
  • Share clear, accurate info with members and stick to our compliance plan.
  • Keep our systems updated after every member interaction.
  • Follow procedures and meet all compliance, legal, and risk requirements.
  • Build strong internal relationships and look for ways to support ART's growth.

This role is a 6-month max-term/ secondment opportunity.


About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

  • You know your way around superannuation and the rules that come with it.
  • You're passionate about educating and supporting members.
  • You're great at understanding what people need and helping them take action.
  • You've got excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You're confident managing relationships and can influence and negotiate when things get tricky.
