• Ongoing Part-Time – working 18.75 hours per week 

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Respiratory and Thoracic Medicine Consultant.

As a Consultant within Respiratory and Thoracic Medicine, you will work alongside dedicated healthcare professionals in a supportive environment. You will provide specialist respiratory and thoracic medicine services to patients across our community, making a real difference to community health outcomes.

In this role you will:

• provide comprehensive respiratory and thoracic medicine consultations
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated patient care
• contribute to clinical education and training programs
• participate in quality improvement initiatives

To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.

The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.

To excel in this role you will possess extensive clinical experience in respiratory and thoracic medicine, demonstrated expertise in sleep medicine, strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
