• Total Indicative Remuneration: $366,283 - $822,189 p.a. (pro rata) – MD2
• Temporary Part-Time – working 11.25 hours per week, up to 12 months

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Consultant in Respiratory and Thoracic Medicine.

In this role you will work within a collaborative respiratory team providing comprehensive care to patients with complex thoracic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• provide specialist respiratory and thoracic medicine consultation services
• manage inpatient and outpatient cases across the respiratory spectrum
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
• contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
• support junior medical staff development and training

To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.

The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.

Clinical excellence in respiratory and sleep medicine, demonstrated skills in problem solving and decision making and a commitment to patient centred care are essential in this role.
