This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to advance their career in hospitality. We are looking for somebody with strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team of people to come onboard as a Duty Manager at the Fire Station Hotel in Wallsend.
The responsibilities of the role include:
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and motivate the front-of-house staff, ensuring a positive and energetic team atmosphere.
- Assist in staff training and development to maintain and improve service standards.
Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional customer service is consistently provided.
- Address customer concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily pub operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Quality Control:
- Uphold quality standards for food and beverages.
- Monitor cleanliness to create an inviting atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Previous pub or club experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to problem solve and resolve conflicts.
- Current RSA, RCG and ARCG qualifications.
