Treasury and Trading Operations


• Execute multi-currency arbitrage strategies across Asian-Pacific markets


• Implement quantitative trading operations using advanced mathematical models


• Manage cross-country fiat-crypto payment rail settlement trading


• Maintain detailed record-keeping systems for regulatory compliance


• Execute proprietary trading strategies using company capital

Capital Markets and Strategic Development


• Design and execute Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization strategies


• Develop Pacific banking rails and correspondent banking relationships


• Lead foreign exchange operations and institutional client onboarding


• Manage client referral programs for high-net-worth clients


• Establish multi-jurisdictional payment infrastructure connecting Asian markets with Australian financial systems

Leadership and Management


• Directly supervise 3-5 treasury and trading staff members


• Provide oversight of junior quantitative analysts and trading assistants


• Mentor team members in advanced trading strategies and risk management


• Conduct performance management and professional development planning

Stakeholder Relations


• Work directly with CEO, Board of Directors, and department heads


• Liaise with AUSTRAC, ASIC, and international financial regulators


• Manage relationships with institutional clients, crypto exchanges, and traditional financial institutions


• Conduct cross-cultural business development activities

Requirements

Educational Background: Master's degree in finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field

Professional Experience: Minimum 15 years in senior treasury, trading, or capital markets roles

Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of derivatives valuation, quantitative trading strategies, and risk management frameworks

Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Australian financial services regulations (ASIC, AUSTRAC) and Asian banking compliance requirements

Language Proficiency: Native-level Mandarin Chinese and English fluency

Cultural Competency: Expertise in Asian business culture and cross-cultural financial negotiations - essential for managing our Asian banking partners and institutional clients

Technology: Advanced VBA programming, financial modeling systems, and blockchain technology understanding

Market Knowledge: Expert understanding of Asian-Pacific currency markets, particularly CNY/CNH dynamics and regional payment systems

Relationship Management: Proven track record managing high-value institutional relationships across different cultural contexts
