Please note this is a temporary 9 month maximum term contract role.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Investment Associate to join our Unlisted Assets team in a temporary maximum term contract of around 9 months to assist in managing and developing our Unlisted Assets portfolio across Property, Infrastructure, and Private Capital. Most importantly, you'll be doing meaningful work that contributes directly to our members' retirement outcomes.

In this position, you will take the lead in fund manager due diligence, including appointment and monitoring processes. You'll have the opportunity to work on origination and assessment of co-investment and direct investment opportunities, while conducting comprehensive financial and commercial due diligence. The role involves managing ongoing asset monitoring and portfolio risk management, as well as contributing to investment strategy research, development and implementation. As a Senior Investment Analyst in the team, you'll provide mentorship and technical expertise to Investment Analysts while collaborating with internal teams to drive investment outcomes.

About You

The ideal candidate should bring significant experience in investment analysis gained in a similar role in Fund Management or a Superannuation Fund. A deep understanding of unlisted assets, particularly property, infrastructure, and/or private equity, is essential. Your expertise should include demonstrable experience in investment research and due diligence, company analysis, fund manager analysis and portfolio management, complemented by excellence in financial modeling and investment analytics. Your exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills will be crucial for success in this role.

Professional development is valued in at HESTA, and candidates with CFA, Master of Finance, or relevant undergraduate degrees are highly regarded.
