We are excited to announce openings for multiple Assistant Multimedia Producer positions within our Curriculum directorate.

• Location: Parramatta with access to various NSW Education offices and flexible working arrangements available

• Salary: Clerk Grade 5/6 with base salary ranging from $99,938 to $110,271 per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading  

• 3 x Temporary full-time opportunity up to four (4) years, with possibility for extension or conversion to ongoing

About the Curriculum directorate

The Curriculum directorate is responsible for supporting the implementation of policies and design of high-quality evidence-based resources and tools to support curriculum implementation across P-12. We coordinate special programs, and we lead the department's response to the NSW Curriculum Reform. 

About the role

The Assistant Multimedia Producer supports the design and development of innovative video learning resources delivered across multiple media outputs that support teaching and learning in NSW government schools.

About you

If you're a creative storyteller with hands-on skills in video and audio production, this is your chance to make a real impact in education. As an Assistant Multimedia Producer, you'll bring innovative learning resources to life for NSW public schools—recording, editing, and delivering engaging content across multiple platforms. You'll work with professional production tools, manage and catalogue media assets, and ensure every project meets the highest accessibility and quality standards. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy problem-solving on shoots, and want your work to inspire teachers and students across the state, we'd love to hear from you.

Key knowledge and experience:

• Familiarity with the process and skills involved in end-to-end video and audio production.

• Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements:

• Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one) 

• Hold a current driver's license

• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
