About the role:
Our Brisbane Assurance & Advisory team is experiencing unprecedented growth. At the same time, we are proud of maintaining our culture and importantly, reasonable working hours. We are seeking like-minded, talented Audit Seniors, or those ready to make that next step, to join our growing team on a permanent basis and be part of our success story.
As an Auditor in RSM, you will be working with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders including listed, private, not for profit and government clients. Your main duties will include managing a portfolio of clients through planning, delivering and reporting on their audit requirements.
In this role you will:
- Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings of significant and complex audit areas;
- Identify and address technical accounting and audit issues;
- Review financial statements to ensure compliance with Accounting Standards and preparation of reports and opinions to management;
- Conduct various audit engagements simultaneously with numerous engagement team members per audit; and
- Assist with management and co-ordination of the audit team including training, mentoring and methodology compliance.
About you:
- 2+ years' experience
- Experience AICing a variety of jobs and supervising team members
- Exceptional communication and people skills
- CA qualified or near qualified
- As passionate about contributing to a great team culture as you are about serving clients and making a difference
- Working knowledge of Australian (or International) Auditing Standards and Australian Corporations Act
- Inherent problem-solving skills and an inquisitive mind
- Craving to add value by providing first class service in response to client demands
- Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills
