The Role

We're looking for an experienced 
Practice Manager
 who thrives on keeping a firm running smoothly. Open to part time (min 3-4 days/week).

You'll be the backbone of our operations – from managing payroll and trust accounting, to making sure our systems and processes run like clockwork. It's a role where your experience and ideas will be valued, and you'll have the freedom to make a real impact.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing payroll and staff entitlements.
  • Overseeing 
    trust accounting
     and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Keeping an eye on firm finances – billing, debtors, reporting.
  • Working with our external accountants and auditors.
  • Helping leadership keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
  • Assisting with our onboarding, induction and off-boarding processes.
  • Looking for ways to improve our systems and processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Someone with experience in 
    law firm practice management
     (or similar professional services).
  • Solid knowledge of 
    trust accounting
     and 
    payroll
    .
  • Comfortable with practice management software (e.g. Smokeball, Xero) and compliance requirements.
  • Super organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • A team player who likes working in a supportive, collaborative environment.
