Join us as a Principal Power BI Developer (Analytics & Visualisation) to help in building intelligent systems that make a real -world impact.About the roleWe are looking for a talented Principal Power BI Developer (Analytics & Visualisation) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will own the end -to -end Power BI capability, including modelling, performance tuning, building intuitive dashboards, and appropriate governance. You'll translate ambiguous business questions into fast, reliable, and intuitive analytics products, while uplifting engineering practices and mentoring a team of BI developers. Your key responsibilities include:Design, build, and maintain Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards (Power Query/M, DAX, model optimisation, incremental refresh).Translate business needs into wireframes and polished UI/UX with clear information architecture, accessibility, and data storytelling best practices.Own semantic model design (star/one -big -table where appropriate), calculations, and row -level security; ensure accuracy and performance.Implement deployment pipelines/CI -CD, version control, and release management; enforce governance and certified datasets.Conduct stakeholder workshops, elicit requirements, prioritise backlog, and iterate rapidly with prototypes and usability feedback.Diagnose and tune report/model performance (query folding, VertiPaq analysis, aggregations); troubleshoot data quality issues.Write robust SQL; integrate with Azure data services (e.g., ADLS, ADF, Synapse/Snowflake connectors) and enterprise security standards.Produce documentation, handover materials, and training; participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with data engineers/Tech BAs. Requirements About you:10+ years in Business Intelligence/Analytics, 6+ years hands -on Power BIBachelors degree in Computer Science, or other relevant disciplines (or equivalent)Demonstrated performance tuning using DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, and Performance AnalyserStrong SQL and data warehousing fundamentals, preferably some hands -on experience with Snowflake (on Azure)Experience with Power BI Service/Microsoft Fabric: capabilities, gateways, workspaces, deployment pipelines, securityCI/CD with Azure DevOps or GitHubStrong communicative skills between stakeholders internally and externally Strong ability to simplify complexity for non -technical audienceMicrosoft Certifications (e.g. DP -500, Fabric Analytics Engineer DP -600) are a plusJoin usIf you are passionate about transforming data into insights and want to work on projects that truly make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
