**Your role**
As our Quality and Compliance Officer with Trusted Care Partners, you will be responsible for ensuring that quality governance systems are established, clinical risk frameworks are functioning effectively, and there is a continuous improvement cycle for the delivery of high-quality health and support services.
You will be a permanent full-time member of the TCP team, supported by the General Manager/Directors.
**How you will make an impact**
- Work collaboratively to identify, monitor, and analyse key quality and risk indicators and provide corresponding advice to managers and committees
- Ensure systems are in place for clinical and other governance activities including but not limited to relevant clinical standards, such as infection control, hand hygiene, consumer led care
- Plan, research, analyse, report, and implement findings to continually improve clinical, practice and other client service delivery methods
- Manage, develop, and support relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve work area and goals
- Design, develop and maintain relevant policies and procedures specific to Trusted Care Partners
- Conduct internal audits and providing audit reports
- Proactively lead all Quality related activities including NDIS Quality Safeguards registration
- Comply with Trusted Care Partners Policies and Procedures as applicable to your role
- Other duties as required by the business

**What we are looking for**
- Knowledge of the DHHS, DFFS, NDIS and Quality and Safeguarding Framework
- Knowledge of the Disability and NSQHS standards
- An understanding of person-centered care in relation to the standards and framework
- Experience working in the clinical risk management and/or quality program of a health, community, or disability service
- Experience working in audit or preparing for certification/accreditation of a community services or healthcare organisation
- An understanding of quality management systems including continuous improvement, internal auditing practice and the ability to coordinate schedules
- An understanding (or ability to rapidly understand) the legislative and regulatory environment for disability support services
- Ability to collect and analysis data for reporting purposes
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders, within operational structures
- Enthusiastic, strives for excellence and executes consistently in line with organisational goals
- Commitment to the rights of people with disabilities to live dignified lives
- Able to accept responsibility and work as part of a team
- Patient, flexible, understanding, supportive and caring nature
- Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor of Nursing or Allied Health or equivalent
- Valid driver’s licence
**Desirable, however not essential**
