As a Complex Balance Disorders Senior Research Fellow, you'll spearhead high-quality clinical research that targets the health and care of patients with complex balance disorders. You will have the opportunity to lead interdisciplinary collaboration, develop innovative care models, and translate research findings into impactful clinical practices. This role offers a unique platform for you to make significant contributions to patient well-being and advance your research career in a vibrant academic and clinical environment.
Your responsibilities will include
- Leading Clinical Research Initiatives: Conduct international standard research, design interdisciplinary care models, and manage research projects.
- Fostering Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Develop and implement collaborative care models, engage with RVEEH and UoM teams, and support student placements.
- Attracting Funding and Driving Research: Secure grants, lead feasibility studies, and translate research into improved clinical outcomes.
- Mentoring and Developing Future Leaders: Supervise higher degree students, foster professional growth, and contribute to teaching activities.
You may be a great fit if
You have a PhD in Audiology, are eligible for registration in Audiology Australia, showcasing leadership in interdisciplinary collaboration, a strong publication record and vestibular research experience, and the ability to translate research into clinical practice.
You may also:
- Possess outstanding interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Have a proven record of attracting research grants and funding.
- Demonstrate capacity building in Allied Health research.
- Exhibit strong leadership and management skills.
- Be committed to scientific and ethical integrity.
