Are you a highly skilled and experience Senior Software Engineer with a passion for building robust and scalable systems? Do you thrive in solving problems for our customers? We're looking for someone just like you to join our dynamic product engineering team in Sydney and play a pivotal role in evolving our platforms.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in the end of end delivery of our order management systems to sure seamless experience for our customers and internal operations. You'll contribute to the entire delivery process from concept and design to deployment and continuous adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable solutions
  encompassing both backend service and responsive frontend interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams to
  translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
  , always ensuring feasibility and alignment with our product vision.
• Contribute to our architecture decisions
  for new features and system improvements
• Be a promoter
  of the Fluent Commerce culture and values
• Be a problem solver
  to achieve good product outcomes through frequent releases.
• Write clean, efficient, well-tested and maintainable code
  that adheres to best practices and contributes to the overall health of our codebase.
• Drive continuous improvement
  in our development processes, tools and overall system performance
• Mentor
  and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative enviroment.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

• Minimum 4 years
  of professional software engineering experience with strong product focus.
• Deep expertise in Java
  for backend development, and having familiarity to frameworks such as Spring Boot or Spring.
• Good experience with
  frontend technologies (
  eg. HTML, Javascript, CSS) and frontend framework (e.g React).
• Good experience with
  Graphql APIs, Rest APIs, microservices and cloud platforms.
• Good
  problem solving skills
  and demonstrate ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Good
  product mindset
  with the adoption of the feasibility, scalability and viability of the solution.
• Proficiency with
  version control systems
  and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
