Overview

You\'ll work as part of a cross-functional engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of modern backend systems. You\'ll also collaborate closely with product managers, QA, and other developers across regions. The team is set to kick off a number of major cloud transformation initiatives in the new year, providing a great opportunity to work on greenfield architecture and scalable infrastructure.

Role

Senior Software Engineer - Global Insurance Company

Contract length: 6 months initial with the view to extend. Location: North Sydney CBD. Hybrid Working arrangement: 1/2 day in office per week - typically 1.

Day rate: 1,100 - 1,200 p/d inclusive of super.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of backend systems as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, QA, and other developers across regions.
  • Support cloud transformation initiatives and work on greenfield architecture and scalable infrastructure.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years experience in Software Engineering/Software Development with involvement in solution design, mentoring and leading other junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with OWASP.
  • Must have full working rights in Australia.
