Funding Coordinator

  • Exciting opportunity to join Sound NSW, a dedicated agency committed to the growth, development and promotion of contemporary music in NSW

  • This is a Clerk Grade 7/8 role with a salary range of $113,574 - $125,720 per annum plus superannuation

  • Temporary role until August 2027 based in Sydney, NSW - hybrid working arrangements may be available within business operational needs

About the role

The Funding Coordinator provides end-to-end support to grant applicants from initial application queries, through assessment processes to final outcomes. The role works closely with the Manager, Music Investment and Partnerships, to deliver funding programs that support the implementation of strategic priorities of the NSW Government's Contemporary Music Strategy.

About you

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the experience to:

  • Provide a range of administrative and processing tasks in a high-volume environment with accuracy and efficiency

  • Anticipate and manage contentious and sensitive policy, program and operational issues within a time sensitive environment

  • Provide advice and accurate responses to requests for information within the required timeframe

  • Understanding of funding delivery within NSW government
