Fund Operations Specialist

Your new company

Operating in partnership with a successful and growing distribution business, this is a newly established funds management business created to deliver seamless access to global Alternative Investment Funds for the Australian market. Servicing financial advisers and high net worth investors through local fund structures, this role is pivotal to ensure they stay in front of demand through effective fund accounting, pricing and regulatory reporting.

Your new role

  • Managing monthly NAV closes, and resolving variances and sign-offs
  • Monitoring unit pricing and fund performance data
  • Manage subscriptions and redemptions into underlying funds
  • Reconcile cash and units across the administrator, custodian and registry
  • Produce inflow/outflow and platform reporting as well as the production of periodic dashboards and client-facing materials
  • Settlement and support of direct alternative investment transactions
  • Coordinating year end audit and tax packs
  • Day to day relationship management and performance oversight of suppliers and service providers
  • Maintain compliance registers and support AFSL obligations and reporting

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong, proven fund operations, accounting and registry management experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical and multitasking skills
  • Experience in governance, risk and compliance as well as audit and tax
  • Superior organisational and data analysis/management skills with strengths in stakeholder management and communication
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced and evolving environment
