Fund Accountant – Global Asset Manager

The Day to Day:

As a key member of the Fund Accounting team, you'll play a central role in delivering accurate financials, ensuring compliance, and supporting fund operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing fund financials, NAV calculations, unit pricing, and tax compliance
  • Preparing monthly accounts, BAS/IAS statements, distribution calculations, and covenant reporting
  • Coordinating investor distributions and vendor payments
  • Supporting audit processes and preparing financial statements
  • Collaborating with investment teams, fund administrators, custodians, and auditors
  • Contributing to process improvements, operational controls, and financial reporting integrity
  • Responding to investor queries and assisting with treasury and transaction support
  • Helping drive the success of a high-performing and future-focused finance team

Who You Are:

You're a detail-oriented and motivated accounting professional with a passion for fund operations and a desire to grow in a fast-paced investment environment. You thrive on collaboration, enjoy solving problems, and are excited by the idea of working across a wide range of asset classes.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience, ideally in fund accounting
  • Strong technical understanding of fund accounting and tax
  • CA or CPA qualified (or progressing towards)
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-first mindset
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Full working rights in Australia
