Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations and drive efficiency, safety, and accuracy across all functions.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Incharge / Forklift Incharge to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory, and ensure smooth logistics flow. The role requires strong leadership, operational management, and hands-on involvement in forklift operations and warehouse safety.

The ideal candidate will have experience in food warehousing and a proven track record in supervising warehouse staff while ensuring compliance with food safety and OH&S regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, and dispatch
  • Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to meet performance and safety standards
  • Operate and manage forklifts and other warehouse machinery efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain accurate stock control through regular cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics and coordinate with transport providers
  • Implement and monitor compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) procedures
  • Drive process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Collaborate with other departments (procurement, production, logistics) to achieve business goals
  • Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised, and compliant at all times.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Warehouse operational efficiency and productivity levels.
  • Accuracy of inventory management and stock reconciliation.
  • Compliance with food safety and OH&S standards.
  • Timely dispatch and delivery of orders.
  • Staff performance, training completion, and adherence to workplace policies.
  • Reduction in workplace incidents and equipment downtime.
  • Forklift fleet uptime and maintenance compliance

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, Supervisor, or Team Leader
  • Valid forklift licence (counterbalance and/or high reach).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
  • Proficient in WMS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Sound knowledge of WHS and ability to promote a safety-first culture
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Desirable

  • Experience in [industry type – e.g. FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics]
  • Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
  • Current Australian driver's licence
