About the Role

We are building a stronger, more connected financial planning capability, and we're looking for a talented Manager, Budgeting and Planning to help us lead the way.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise wide budgeting and forecasting frameworks that directly inform executive decision making. You'll work across diverse stakeholders to translate complex forecast data into meaningful insights, ensuring our resources are strategically aligned to deliver impact where it matters most for our learners, staff and communities.

About You

You're an analytical thinker and natural problem solver who enjoys bringing structure and clarity to complexity. You have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and you thrive in collaborative environments where financial insight drives real decisions.

You'll bring proven experience in forecasting and executive reporting, as well as a track record in delivering or leading finance process improvement initiatives. Your proactive approach, attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture will make you a trusted advisor to senior leaders.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree qualification in a relevant discipline and full membership (or eligibility) of a recognised professional accounting body and relevant, knowledge and experience.

  • Demonstrated understanding of Australian Accounting Standards, Public Finance and Audit Act, Treasurer's Directions and other government regulations.

  • Significant experience in complex modelling and analysis in a large organisation with large data sets.
