Civil Crew Members – Full Time / Casual

Location: Northern Suburbs, Melbourne

Company: New Horizon Construction (NHC)

New Horizon Construction (NHC) is a well-established civil construction company based in Melbourne. We specialise in a wide range of works including road infrastructure, maintenance, signage installation, graffiti removal, fencing, and line marking.

We are currently seeking experienced, motivated, and reliable Civil Crew Members to join our team on a permanent basis.

Key Skills & Experience

We are looking for candidates with proven experience in:

  • Excavator operation
  • Concreting
  • Concrete labouring
  • Driving trucks with non-synchromesh (Roadranger) gearboxes

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in civil and road construction
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excavator operator ticket (minimum 3 years' experience)
  • Experience working with civil crews on road infrastructure projects
  • Current Red or White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Local to Melbourne's Northern Suburbs (preferred)

Desirable but Not Essential

  • Traffic control ticket (Stop/Slow Bat)
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction
  • Electrical spotter ticket
  • HR Truck Licence
  • Concreting experience
  • Experience driving non-synchromesh (double clutch) trucks
