Concrete Labourer / Civil Crew Members – Northern Suburbs

New Horizon Construction are looking for reliable, hardworking Concrete Labourers and Civil Crew Members to join our team.

Qualified applicants are preferred, but we are open to discussing your skills and experience. Local applicants (Northern Suburbs) are highly regarded.

About the Role

Work involves the safe and effective use of small plant and equipment such as jackhammers, concrete saws, and other power tools, while ensuring proper maintenance of equipment.

You will also be expected to:

  • Carry out work in line with Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
  • Contribute positively to customer service and team culture by acting ethically and fairly.
  • Undertake a variety of physical operational works.
  • Assist or relieve other staff members across the Operational Department when required.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in boxing & screeding.
  • Knowledge of surface finishes (broom and stipple).
  • Concrete kerb and channel experience (beneficial but not essential).
  • Valid driver's licence (manual & auto).
  • MR or HR truck licence (desirable but not required).
  • White Card (essential).
  • Experience in asphalt works or releveling pits (desirable but not required).
  • Hardworking, reliable, and punctual.
  • Willing to learn and adaptable.
  • Able to work both in a team and independently.

Pay: $40.00 – $52.17 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
