What will you bring?
  • A thorough understanding of the Australian economy
  • Experience (likely 7 or more years) as an economist or strategist in the finance sector, government, credit rating agency, research institution or related field
  • An effective communication style, both written and oral, and excellent technical skills (advanced quantitative skills would be well regarded)
  • High levels of initiative and problem-solving
  • A collaborative work style that involves others in reaching end results
  • Capability to effectively manage and build internal and external relationships
  • Bachelor of Economics (or equivalent) degree from a recognised tertiary institution
  • Honours degree and/or relevant post-grad studies well regarded
  • Curiosity and interest around new and emerging data sets and techniques
  • An ability to motivate, inspire and mentor others
