Our newest addition to the Augustus Gelatery franchise is coming to Ballarat in December and we are on the hunt for a dedicated and reliable Store Manager

Applicants must have previous hospitality and/or retail experience. Management or leadership experience is highly preferred.

As Store Manager you will be expected to manage a team of up to approximately 25 staff members, complete rosters, implement policies and procedures and uphold Head Office expectations. Excellent organisation and communication skills are a must

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee daily operations of the store to maintain smooth procedures
  • Maintain store cleanliness and appearance
  • Managing teams
  • Weekly rostering
  • Hiring and training new staff
  • Communicate between head office and employee
  • Ordering of stock and supplies through head office
  • Performance appraisals
  • Conduct staff meetings

This is a full-time permanent position. The store will be open 365 days so applicants must have high and flexible summer availability including a mixture of days, nights and weekend work. Position paid under Fast Food Industry Award rates.
