Location: King Island, Tasmania

TRT Pastoral Group is seeking an experienced Senior Station Hand to join our dedicated Angus beef team on King Island. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of Australia's most beautiful farming regions while contributing to a progressive, family-owned agribusiness.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Low-stress stock handling, livestock processing, drafting, and animal husbandry
  • Assist with rotational grazing management
  • Operate vehicles and machinery as required
  • Carry out fence and water infrastructure repairs and maintenance
  • General property and farm maintenance
  • Adhere to safe work practices at all times
Essential Criteria
  • Proven livestock handling experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years of cattle and beef livestock experience required
  • Current manual driver's licence
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
Desirable Criteria
  • Motorcycle licence
  • Certificate III in Agriculture (or equivalent qualification/experience)
