About the role

Little Scribblers ELC's is seeking a skilled and experienced Centre Leader/Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our early learning centre in Ashfield, NSW. As the Centre Leader/Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care, education and wellbeing for the children in our centre. This is a full-time position and you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of educators in delivering exceptional learning experiences.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the centre's team of educators, guiding them in the delivery of high-quality programs and activities
  • Develop and implement engaging educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the centre, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and the local community to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Monitor the centre's performance and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance the quality of care and education
  • Actively participate in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of industry changes and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the childcare industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
  • Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality care and education for children
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children Check
