About the Role

The Operator will be responsible for the safe operation of a wide range of plant and equipment used in civil construction, including rollers, watercarts, loaders, graders, and excavators. This role requires experience in machinery operation, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safety and efficiency on site. Operators are also expected to assist in general site duties when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate heavy equipment to complete earthworks, roadworks, and other construction tasks.
  • Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Report any faults, hazards, or breakdowns to supervisors.
  • Work from plans, maps, or instructions provided by site management.
  • Coordinate with ground crews and other operators to deliver works effectively.
  • Assist with general labouring or site tasks when required.
  • Adhere to company safety procedures and contribute to toolbox meetings.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating one or more types of civil equipment.

About the Role

The Diesel Fitter / Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing heavy vehicles, trucks, and civil construction equipment. This is a hands-on position requiring strong diagnostic ability, mechanical aptitude, and the capability to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. The role supports critical construction and transport projects, with opportunities to work on a wide range of machinery both in workshop and field settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance and inspections on plant, trucks, and light vehicles.
  • Perform breakdown repairs and fault finding on-site when required.
  • Maintain service records and report on equipment condition.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance work is completed to required standards of quality and safety.
  • Assist with procurement of parts and liaise with supervisors on equipment needs.
  • Support the wider team by maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in diesel fitting, mechanics, or heavy vehicle/equipment maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.

This is a diverse position that covers office management, workforce coordination, and project assistance. The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and capable of working across multiple areas to support management and site operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office functions including filing, record keeping, data entry, and correspondence.
