Andrews Meat Industries is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: foodservice, value added (cooked) and export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.

About the role

We have a great opportunity for someone to join the Accounts Receivable team based in Lidcombe. 

This role provides much needed support to the Accounts Receivable Manager, ensuring the focus is on minimising the company's debt exposure and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer that is highly motivated and demonstrates sharp attention to detail. 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

Managing customer accounts in accordance with company credit terms and policiesTimely collection of outstanding debtInbound and outbound collection calls and emailsPerforming account reconciliationsAllocation of all cheques/cash, credit card, BPay and direct depositsLiaising with internal departments to ensure all invoice queries are resolved and paidValidation and resolution of claims in accordance to policyPrepare statements and monitor customer accounts for overdue invoices and deductionsIssuing and processing customer credit notesAd hoc tasks as required

About you

Minimum 2 years' experience in A/R or similar roleCustomer focused attitudeDegree qualified in a, finance, accounting, or equivalent discipline would be advantageousAdvanced level of computer literacyMotivated, analytical thinker, keen to contribute and refine current processesKeen eye for detailLoves to work as part of a team and achieve shared goals
