On behalf of our client , Stride Early learning , we are looking for few positions : Childcare worker /Room leader /Qualified Educator to join our centres at Belmont, Brabham, Dayton and other few locations across WA.

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the assigned room and providing leadership, guidance and support to educators and staff. In collaboration with the Educational Leader, the Diploma Qualified Educator – Responsible Person will help develop, implement and reflect upon educational programs, ensuring high-quality outcomes for children and families. The role also includes ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, promoting the best practices and fostering a positive, inclusive and safe environment for children, staff and families.

Key Responsibilities:


•Lead and implement age-appropriate educational programs for children


•Create a safe, inclusive, fun and stimulating environment that supports children's development


•Oversee children's health, safety, and well-being always


•Mentor and guide educators to improve their practices and professional growth


•Ensure compliance with all child protection and safety regulations


•Maintain clear communication with parents and families regarding children's progress


•Provide leadership in the absence of the Assistant Centre Manager or Centre Manager


•Support the professional development and induction of new staff members


•Ensure the physical environment and resources meet safety standards


•Ensure curriculum and child learning platform(s) are up to date

Qualifications and Experience:


•Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) OR a Diploma of Early Childhood Education andCare (or equivalent)


•Current 'Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting' qualification


•Current ACECQA-approved Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management training


•Valid Working with Children Check


•Accredited Child Protection Training


•Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Education and CareServices National Law and Regulations, and other relevant legislation


•Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills

Essential Criteria:


•Ability to lead and mentor educators and staff in delivering high-quality education and care


•Sound understanding of child development and effective educational practices


•Ability to manage multiple tasks, provide clear direction, and work collaboratively with families,educators, and management


•Strong commitment to child safety and compliance with relevant child protection legislation

Additional Information:


• This position includes the role of Responsible Person as defined by the relevant legislation, which entails overseeing the day-to-day management of the service when the Assistant Centre Manager or Centre Manager is absent.


• The Diploma Qualified Educator – Responsible Person must be 18 years or older.
