Part Time (0.6 FTE) - Term Contract (temporary up to 15 May 2026)
About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CAMHS team as a Senior Speech Pathologist, where you will be responsible for:
- Providing specialist speech therapy services to children, adolescents, and families with complex mental health needs.
- Delivering forensic mental health care, including in-reach to Kurlana Tapa Youth Justice Centre and Youth Court triage.
- Leading clinical practice and collaborating within multidisciplinary and interagency teams.
- Supervising and supporting speech therapy staff.
- Conducting assessments and screenings in Youth Justice and Youth Court settings.
- Contributing to quality, safety, and service development across CAMHS.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Ability to Communicate and work with other professionals, facilitate group functions and work as a team member
- Ability to work with a high degree of responsibility with limited supervision and direction.
- Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms.
- Extensive clinical experience in the delivery of mental health speech therapy services to children and adolescents, with advanced clinical experience in the delivery of at least one clinical modality relevant to Child and Adolescent Forensic Mental Health
- Extensive experience in the area of supervision of clinical staff
