We are seeking confident, experienced and reliable support workers to join our team in the Kellyville area for weekday and weekend shifts including 5hr day shifts and 4hr evening shifts. You will be required to assist our Participant who has a spinal cord injury, with all aspects of his care needs. Those who join our team will display a proactive approach to ensuring all Participants needs are met consistently and delivered in line with our Participant's requests and preferences.

Suitable applicants must have:

  • Right to work in Australia
  • Certificate III / 1V in Individual Supports / Disability / Community Services or equivalent
  • NDIS Worker Clearance
  • First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Manual Handling certificate
  • Infection Control Training
  • Food Handling Certificate
  • Experience in catheter care, complex bowel care, personal care and the use of equipment such as hoist and wheelchair will be required.
  • Experience in supporting a client with a Spinal Cord Injury is preferred
  • Valid Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance
  • Clear communication and listening skills.
  • Have a person-centred approach and are confident in your practice
  • Be available for immediate start.

Casual SCHADS Award Weekday rate of $43.23 to $44.59 depending on qualifications and experience.
