About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Fully Qualified Chef or Third-Year Apprentice to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, professionalism, and strong culinary expertise to help maintain and elevate our menu offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes consistently
- Support menu planning and development
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and waste control
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams
Requirements
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Proven experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
- Strong understanding of modern cooking techniques
- Excellent time-management and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and uphold high standards
- Passion for quality food and continuous improvement
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $35.15 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
